Innovation Campus
Herzeliya
Located at the entrance to Herzliya, the Science Campus brings together four schools – Tichon Hadash, the Practical Engineering School, the Science Center and Yad Giora. The new buildings express innovation, dynamism, sustainability and creativity, reflecting the excellence of the schools on the campus.
Two new buildings, with a total area of 4,500 sqm, face the city, with a new public square between them. Building N – "The Innovation Wall" – is wrapped in a double-skin facade that creates a green buffer zone between the campus and the busy boulevard. It houses 21 classrooms, shared laboratories and administration. Building O – "The Energy Generator" – forms the heart of the campus, pooling shared resources: a cafeteria, MedTech spaces, a makers' lab and a 350-seat auditorium that opens to the community in the afternoons.
The design concept draws on the fields and orchards that once covered the site: climbing plants grow on trellises across the facades and cascade down from the roofs, and greenery continues inside, into the shared spaces, corridors and auditorium.
