A renovation of an historic farm. 2006-2009, 1000 sqm.
In a small valley in Provence, few hours' drive south from the French Alps, in the heart of picturesque countryside of Provance.
Lavender fields, lakes, markets and restaurants, Domaine Makeda is a magical place for holiday. It covers 200 Acres of oak forest and vegetable fields, within walking distance of the village of Malijai .
The farm was built at the beginning of the 18th century near a Fountain, which provides pure drinking water until today.
In 1996, Daniel and Meriz Kedar bought the farm, dividing their time between Israel, Haiti and France.
In 2005, we began planning the estate, and during 2006/7 the farm was renovated and guest apartments were built, while maintaining the original character.
The estate includes a 25 m. infinity swimming pool, a well-equipped kitchen and dining area, organic vegetable garden, chicken coop, ducks, geese, pigeons, donkeys and horses, a traditional Patang field, a jacuzzi and a bar.
The estate is suitable for a family vacation of up to six couples.
