Bagno

The project, named after Moshe Bagno, the second mayor of Bnei Brak, is an 8000 sqm community center which is set on a two Dunam lot in the city of Bnei Brak. The program was perfectly tailored to the unique demands and needs of the religious population of the city.
It includes a community center, a library, a variety of classrooms, lecture and concert halls, a music center, a synagogue and a gym. Within the modern planning, a special place for "Yad Labanim", an organization that commemorates fallen Israeli soldiers, was incorporated. |
Planning team: Yoav Messer Architects | Iftah Hayner | Suzan Serban-Yadid | Hagar Admi
The unique treatment of the facade was planned to achieve several goals:
- To brand the building and attract a diverse audience.
- To allow long term planning flexibility without compromising the facade.
- Downplaying the human activity inside.
